Who We Are

Serving the Whitesboro Community

We are not a denomination in which we are independent from all other churches.  Just as the New Testament teaches, the men of the congregation tend the work of the church here in Whitesboro.  We do not have ties to any association, convention, or organization.  Our work is solely funded by voluntary contributions of our members 1 Corinthians 16:1-2; 2 Corinthians 9:6, 7.  We do not seek money from any individual or group outside of this church.

Mission/Vision

Glorify God

North Union Church of Christ is an inclusive church committed to Christ and His word. We are dedicated to sharing the love of Christ through ministry, fellowship and worship. We strive to adhere to the Word of God in word and deed (Colossians 3:17).  Therefore, we take the Bible alone as our rule of Faith and practice(1 Pete 4:11).  It is the inspired, authoritative revelation of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17). As such, it contains "all things that pertain to life and godliness" (2 Peter 1:3). At its core are the members and believers that come together to practice God’s word, celebrate His love and extend His gifts to all.

Our Values

The Building Blocks of Our Belives

WHAT WE DO

We gather each week to worship God and encourage one another (Hebrews 10:24-25).  On Sundays we follow the  simple, sincere pattern of New Testament Christians.  Therefore, we do the following:

--Give back to the Lord (1 Corinthians 16:1-2).

--Remember our Savior's death in the Lord's Supper (Matthew 26:26-29; Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 11:23-29).

--Pray (Acts 2:42; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; 1 Timothy 2:1-4).

--Sing (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16).

--Preach the Word (Acts 2:42; 20:47; 2 Timothy 4:2).

Everything we do is based on scripture.

OUR COMMUNITY

We work to fulfill the Great Commission given to us all "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you and I will be with you always to the end of the age.(Matthew 28:19-20)
